Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
तद्धभक्तास्तद्गृहा राजंस्तद्धलास्तदपाश्रया: । अर्थिनश्व भवन्त्यर्थे तेषु दत्त महाफलम्
tad-dharma-bhaktās tad-gṛhā rājan tad-balās tad-apāśrayāḥ | arthinaś ca bhavanty arthe teṣu dattaṁ mahāphalam, nareśvara ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—നരേശ്വരാ! ധർമ്മത്തോടേ ഭക്തിയുള്ളവർ, ധർമ്മത്തിൽ സ്ഥാപിതമായ ഗൃഹങ്ങൾ ഉള്ളവർ, ധർമ്മം തന്നെയാണ് ബലം എന്നവർ, ധർമ്മത്തെയേ ആശ്രയിച്ചവർ—അവർ ആവശ്യസമയത്ത് യാചിച്ചാൽ, അവർക്കു നൽകിയ ദാനം മഹാഫലം നൽകുന്നു।
