ये त्वेवंगुणजातीयास्तेभ्यो दत्त महाफलम् | सहस्रगुणमाप्रोति गुणाहाय प्रदायक:
Transliteration
ye tv evaṁguṇajātīyās tebhyo dattaṁ mahāphalam | sahasraguṇam āpnoti guṇāhāya pradāyakaḥ ||
Translation
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇപ്രകാരം ഗുണസമ്പന്നരായവർക്കു നൽകിയ ദാനം മഹാഫലം നൽകുന്നു. ഗുണം തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞു ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ദാതാവിന് സഹസ്രഗുണ ഫലം ലഭിക്കുന്നു।
