इत्युक्त्वा सुह्ृद: सर्वान् सम्परिष्वज्य चैव ह । पुनरेवाब्रवीद् धीमान् युधिष्ठिरमिदं वच:
ity uktvā suhṛdaḥ sarvān sampariṣvajya caiva ha | punar evābravīd dhīmān yudhiṣṭhiram idaṃ vacaḥ ||
ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ് ജ്ഞാനിയായ ഭീഷ്മൻ തന്റെ എല്ലാ സുഹൃത്തുക്കളെയും ആലിംഗനം ചെയ്തു; പിന്നെ വീണ്ടും യുധിഷ്ഠിരനോട് ഈ വാക്കുകൾ പറഞ്ഞു।
