महता राजभोगेन पारिबर्ेण संवृत: । स्तूयमानो महातेजा भीष्मस्याग्नीननुव्रजन्
mahātā rājabhogena pāribarheṇa saṁvṛtaḥ | stūyamāno mahātejā bhīṣmasyāgnīn anuvrajan ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—മഹത്തായ രാജഭോഗവും വിപുലമായ രാജോപകരണങ്ങളും ചുറ്റിപ്പറ്റി, മഹാതേജസ്സുള്ള രാജാവിനെ സ്തുതിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ഭീഷ്മൻ സ്ഥാപിച്ച ത്രിവിധ അഗ്നികളെ മുന്നിൽ വെച്ച്, അവൻ പിന്നിൽ പിന്നിൽ നടന്നു।
