यदा प्रमाणं प्रसव: स्वभावश्च सुखासुखे । दंशकीटपिपीलानां स्थिरो भव युधिछिर
Translation
യുധിഷ്ഠിരാ! കൊതുക്, കീടം, ഉറുമ്പ് മുതലായ ജീവികളെ അതത് യോനികളിൽ ജനിപ്പിക്കുകയും അവർക്കു സുഖദുഃഖങ്ങൾ അനുഭവിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതിന്, അവരുടെ സ്വന്തം കർമ്മാനുസാരമായി രൂപപ്പെട്ട സ്വഭാവം തന്നെയാണ് പ്രമാണവും കാരണവും. ഇത് ചിന്തിച്ച് സ്ഥിരചിത്തനാകുക.
