ब्राह्मणेषु च वृत्तिया पितृपैतामहोचिता । तामन्वेहि महाबाहो धर्मस्यैते हि देशिका:
brāhmaṇeṣu ca vṛttiyā pitṛpaitāmaho citā | tām anvehi mahābāho dharmasyāite hi deśikāḥ ||
മഹാബാഹോ! ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാരോടു നിന്റെ പിതാവും പിതാമഹനും പാലിച്ചിരുന്ന പാരമ്പര്യാചാരം നീയും പിന്തുടരുക; കാരണം ഇവരാണ് ധർമ്മത്തിന്റെ ഉപദേശകരും മാർഗദർശകരും.
