पूषणं चाभिदुद्राव पादेन च रुषान्वित: । पुरोडाशं भक्षयतो दशनान् वै व्यशातयत्,फिर उन्होंने रोषमें भरकर पैदल ही पूषादेवताका पीछा किया और पुरोडाश भक्षण करनेवाले उनके दाँतोंको तोड़ डाला
pūṣāṇaṃ cābhidudrāva pādena ca ruṣānvitaḥ | puroḍāśaṃ bhakṣayato daśanān vai vyaśātayat ||
പിന്നീട് രോഷം നിറഞ്ഞ് കാല്നടയായി പൂഷാദേവനെ പിന്തുടർന്നു; പുരോഡാശം ഭക്ഷിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന അവന്റെ പല്ലുകൾ തകർത്തുകളഞ്ഞു.
