एवं व्युष्टिमहं प्राप्तो ब्राह्मणस्य प्रसादजाम् । यच्च मामाह भीष्मो<यं तत्सत्यं भरतर्षभ
evaṁ vyuṣṭim ahaṁ prāpto brāhmaṇasya prasādajām | yac ca mām āha bhīṣmo 'yaṁ tat satyaṁ bharatarṣabha ||
ഇങ്ങനെ ബ്രാഹ്മണന്റെ പ്രസാദത്തിൽ നിന്നു ജനിച്ച ഉത്തമഫലം ഞാൻ പ്രാപിച്ചു. ഈ ഭീഷ്മൻ എന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ എന്തു പറയുന്നുവോ, ഭരതശ്രേഷ്ഠാ, അതെല്ലാം സത്യമാണ്.
