bhūgatān hi vijetāro vayam ity abruvan dvijāḥ | tataḥ karma samārabdhaṃ brāhmaṇaiḥ kapanāśanam ||
ദ്വിജന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു—“അവരെ ഭൂമിയിലേക്കിറക്കിയ ശേഷം ഞങ്ങൾ ജയിക്കും.” തുടർന്ന് ബ്രാഹ്മണർ കപ-നാശനാർത്ഥമായ കർമ്മം ആരംഭിച്ചു.
भीष्म उवाच
