अपना छा | अ:-फक्राछ सप्तपञ्चाशर्दाधिकशततमोब् ध्याय: कप नामक दानवोंके द्वारा स्वर्गलोकपर अधिकार जमा लेनेपर ब्राह्म॒णोंका कपोंको भस्म कर देना
bhīṣma uvāca
tṛṣṇīm āsīd arjunas tu pavanastv abravīt punaḥ |
śṛṇu me brāhmaṇeṣv eva mukhyaṃ karma janādhipa ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “യുധിഷ്ഠിരാ! ഇത്രയായിട്ടും കാർത്തവീര്യ അർജുനൻ മൗനമായിരുന്നു. അപ്പോൾ വായുദേവൻ വീണ്ടും പറഞ്ഞു— ‘ഹേ നരാധിപാ! ബ്രാഹ്മണർക്കു പ്രത്യേകമായ പ്രധാന കർത്തവ്യങ്ങളും ശ്രേഷ്ഠമായ ആദർശകർമ്മങ്ങളും എന്നിൽ നിന്നു കേൾക്കുക.’”
