एवं दग्धा भगवता दानवा: स्वेन तेजेसा । अगस्त्येन तदा राज॑ंस्तपसा भावितात्मना,'“राजन्! इस प्रकार शुद्ध अन्तःकरणवाले भगवान् अगस्त्यने अपने तप और तेजसे दानवोंको दग्ध कर दिया था
evaṁ dagdhā bhagavatā dānavāḥ svena tejasā | agastyena tadā rājan tapasā bhāvitātmanā ||
ഹേ രാജാവേ! ഇങ്ങനെ തപസ്സാൽ ഭാവിതനായി ശുദ്ധാന്തഃകരണനായ ഭഗവാൻ അഗസ്ത്യൻ തന്റെ തന്നെ തേജസ്സിന്റെ ബലത്തിൽ ദാനവന്മാരെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചു.
