भीष्म उवाच व्यासप्रोक्तमिमं मन्त्र शुणुष्वैकमना नृप । सावितन्र्या विहित॑ दिव्यं सद्य: पापविमोचनम्
bhīṣma uvāca
vyāsaproktaṃ imaṃ mantraṃ śṛṇuṣva ekamanā nṛpa | sāvitryā vihitaṃ divyaṃ sadyaḥ pāpavimocanam ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ രാജാവേ, വ്യാസൻ ഉപദേശിച്ച ഈ മന്ത്രം ഏകാഗ്രചിത്തത്തോടെ ശ്രവിക്ക. സാവിത്രീദേവി സ്ഥാപിച്ച ദിവ്യ മന്ത്രമാണിത്; ഇത് തത്സമയം പാപവിമോചനം നൽകുന്നു.
