दुर्गाण्यतितरत्याशु पुरुष: पुरुषोत्तमम् | स्तुवन् नामसहस्रेण नित्यं भक्तिसमन्वितः,जो पुरुष भक्तिसम्पन्न होकर इस विष्णुसहख्रनामसे पुरुषोत्तम भगवान्की प्रतिदिन स्तुति करता है, वह शीघ्र ही समस्त संकटोंसे पार हो जाता है
durgāṇy atitaraty āśu puruṣaḥ puruṣottamam | stuvan nāmasahasreṇa nityaṁ bhaktisamanvitaḥ ||
ഭക്തിസമന്വിതനായി വിഷ്ണു സഹസ്രനാമം കൊണ്ടു നിത്യവും പുരുഷോത്തമനായ ഭഗവാനെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നവൻ, എല്ലാ ദുരിതങ്ങളും അപകടങ്ങളും शीഘ്രം അതിക്രമിക്കുന്നു।
