ऋषयश्नचापि ते सर्वे नारदप्रमुखास्तदा । प्रतिगृह्माभ्यनन्दन्त तद्वाक््यं प्रतिपूज्य च,नारद आदि सम्पूर्ण महर्षि भी भीष्मजीके वचन सुनकर उनकी प्रशंसा करते हुए बहुत प्रसन्न हुए
ṛṣayaś cāpi te sarve nāradapramukhās tadā | pratigṛhya abhinandanta tad vākyaṃ pratipūjya ca ||
അപ്പോൾ നാരദപ്രമുഖരായ ആ സകല ഋഷിമാരും ഭീഷ്മന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ ആദരത്തോടെ സ്വീകരിച്ചു; ആ വചനത്തെ പൂർണ്ണമായി മാനിച്ച് പ്രശംസിച്ചു അവർ അത്യന്തം സന്തോഷിച്ചു.
