Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament

Educational Q&A

That the deepest truth is both taught and made effective by Mādhava; therefore Arjuna’s success is ultimately grounded in taking refuge in Nārāyaṇa—divine guidance and grace complete what human effort begins.

In Anuśāsana Parva, Bhīṣma continues instructing the Pāṇḍavas; here he addresses Arjuna directly, attributing Arjuna’s victory and renown to Mādhava’s role as teacher and accomplisher of profound truth.
