Adhyāya 152 — Bhīṣma’s Authorization for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Return to the Capital (नगरप्रवेशानुज्ञा)
शेषान्नमुपभुञ्जाना यथान्यायं यथाविधि । तुष्टपुष्टजना नित्यं नारी धर्मेण युज्यते
śeṣānnam upabhuñjānā yathānyāyaṃ yathāvidhi | tuṣṭapuṣṭajanā nityaṃ nārī dharmeṇa yujyate ||
ന്യായവും വിധിയും അനുസരിച്ച് എല്ലാവരെയും തൃപ്തിപ്പെടുത്തിയ ശേഷം ശേഷിക്കുന്ന അന്നമേ ഭുജിക്കുകയും, വീട്ടിലെ ജനങ്ങളെ നിത്യം തൃപ്തരായും പുഷ്ടരായും സൂക്ഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന സ്ത്രീ—അവൾ ധർമ്മത്തോടു യുക്തയെന്നു കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു।
