Śatarudrīya-prabhāva and Rudra’s Supremacy (शतरुद्रीयप्रभावः)
उमोवाच भगवन् सर्वभूतेश शूलपाणे महाव्रत । संशयो मे महान् जातस्तन्मे व्याख्यातुमहसि
umovāca bhagavan sarvabhūteśa śūlapāṇe mahāvrata | saṃśayo me mahān jātas tan me vyākhyātum arhasi ||
ഉമ പറഞ്ഞു—ഭഗവൻ! സർവ്വഭൂതേശ്വരാ! ശൂലപാണേ! മഹാവ്രതധാരീ! എനിക്കൊരു മഹത്തായ സംശയം ഉദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ദയചെയ്ത് അതെനിക്ക് വ്യാഖ്യാനിക്കണമേ.
