ततो नभस्पृशज्वालो विद्युल्लोलाग्निसल्बण: । द्वादशादित्यसदृशो युगान्ताग्निरिवापर:
Translation
അപ്പോൾ ആ അഗ്നിയുടെ ജ്വാലകൾ ആകാശത്തെ തൊടുന്നതുപോലെ ഉയർന്നു. മിന്നലുപോലെ ചാഞ്ചാടുന്ന ആ തീ അത്യന്തം ഭയാനകമായി തോന്നി; പന്ത്രണ്ടു സൂര്യന്മാരെപ്പോലെ ദീപ്തമായി, അത് മറ്റൊരു പ്രളയാഗ്നിയെന്നപോലെ പ്രതീതിയായി.
