द्वैपायनप्रभूतयस्तथा चेमे तपोधना: । ऋषय: सुव्रता दान्ता: शृण्वन्तु गदतस्तव

Transliteration

dvaipāyanaprabhūtayas tathā ceme tapodhanāḥ | ṛṣayaḥ suvratā dāntāḥ śṛṇvantu gadatas tava ||

Translation

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ദ്വൈപായനപ്രമുഖരായ ഈ ഋഷികളും, തപസ്സിൽ സമ്പന്നരായ ഈ തപോധനരും, ഉത്തമവ്രതധാരികളും ദാന്തരുമായ മഹർഷിമാർ, നീ പറയുന്നതു ശ്രവിക്കട്ടെ.
