Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
एष शक्तो महाबाहुर्वक्तुं भगवतो गुणान् । विभूतिं चैव कार्त्स्न्येन सत्यां माहेश्वरी नूप,नरेश्वर! ये महाबाहु श्रीकृष्ण ही भगवान् महेश्वरके गुणों तथा उनके यथार्थ ऐश्वर्यका पूर्णतः वर्णन करनेमें समर्थ हैं
eṣa śakto mahābāhur vaktuṁ bhagavato guṇān | vibhūtiṁ caiva kārtsnyena satyāṁ māheśvarīṁ nṛpa, nareśvara |
ഹേ നരേശ്വരാ! ഈ മഹാബാഹുവായ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണൻ മാത്രമേ ഭഗവാൻ മഹേശ്വരന്റെ ഗുണങ്ങളും അവന്റെ സത്യമായ മാഹേശ്വരീ വിഭൂതിയും സമഗ്രമായി വർണ്ണിക്കാൻ ശേഷിയുള്ളൂ.
