Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
अतीव हसते रौद्रस्त्रासयन् नयनैर्जनम् । जागर्ति चैव स्वपिति जृम्भते च यथासुखम्
atīva hasate raudras trāsayan nayanair janam | jāgarti caiva svapiti jṛmbhate ca yathāsukham ||
വാസുദേവൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അവൻ രൗദ്രഭാവത്തോടെ അതിയായി ചിരിച്ച്, തന്റെ നേത്രങ്ങളാൽ തന്നെ ജനങ്ങളെ ഭീതിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു. എങ്കിലും അവൻ ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ ജാഗരിക്കുന്നു, നിദ്രിക്കുന്നു, സുഖമായി ജംഭിക്കുന്നു.
