पित्राहं यज्ञकाले हि नीतो ज्ञातिकुलं महत् । तत्र सा क्षरते देवी दिव्या गौ: सुरनन्दिनी
pitrāhaṃ yajñakāle hi nīto jñātikulaṃ mahat | tatra sā kṣarate devī divyā gauḥ suranandinī, tāta |
വാസുദേവൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “യജ്ഞകാലത്ത് പിതാവ് എന്നെ നമ്മുടെ ജ്ഞാതികുലത്തിലെ മഹത്തായ ഗൃഹത്തിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോയി. അവിടെ ദേവന്മാർക്ക് ആനന്ദം നൽകുന്ന ആ ദിവ്യഗോ—സുരനന്ദിനി സുരഭി—പാൽ ചൊരിഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.”
