परस्परविरुद्धानां प्रियं नूनं चिकीर्षसि । सुहृदामुपरोधेन तेनासि हरिण: कृश:

parasparaviruddhānāṃ priyaṃ nūnaṃ cikīrṣasi | suhṛdām uparodhena tenāsi hariṇaḥ kṛśaḥ ||

പരസ്പരം വിരോധിക്കുന്നവരെ പ്രീതിപ്പെടുത്താനാണ് നീ നിശ്ചയമായി ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത്. അവരുടെ خاطر നിന്റെ സുഹൃത്തുകളെ തടഞ്ഞുവെച്ചതിനാൽ ആശങ്കയുടെ ഭാരത്തിൽ നീ മാൻപോലെ ക്ഷീണിച്ച് ദുർബലനായിരിക്കുന്നു.
