मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
सिंहव्याप्रप्रयुक्तैस्तु मेघनि:स्वननादितैः
siṁha-vyāghra-prayuktaiḥ tu megha-niḥsvana-nāditaiḥ | tataḥ paścāt bahu-saṅkhyakā rathāḥ sānandaṁ vijaya-ghoṣaṁ kurvantaḥ pravartante | teṣu suvarṇa-mayeṣu nirmaleṣu maṅgala-kāriṣu ratheṣu deva-kanyā āruḍhā bhavanti |
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു— അവരുടെ പിന്നിൽ സിംഹങ്ങളാലും വ്യാഘ്രങ്ങളാലും യോജിപ്പിച്ച, ഇടിമേഘങ്ങളുടെ ഗംഭീരഗർജ്ജനപോലെ മുഴങ്ങുന്ന അനവധി രഥങ്ങൾ നീങ്ങുന്നു. ആനന്ദത്തോടെ വിജയഘോഷം മുഴക്കി അവ മുന്നേറുന്നു. ആ രഥങ്ങൾ സ്വർണമയവും നിർമലവും മംഗളകരവുമാണ്; അവയിൽ ദേവകന്യകൾ ആരൂഢരായിരിക്കുന്നു.
