Śrī-nivāsa: Traits and Conditions for the Abode of Prosperity (श्री-निवासः)
मैं मूर्तिमती एवं अनन्यचित्त होकर तो भगवान् नारायणमें ही सम्पूर्ण भावसे निवास करती हूँ; क्योंकि उनमें महान् धर्म संनिहित है। उनका ब्राह्मणोंके प्रति प्रेम है और उनमें स्वयं सर्वप्रिय होनेका गुण भी है ।।
nāhaṃ śarīreṇa vasāmi devi naivaṃ mayā śakyam ihābhidhātum | bhāvena yasmin nivāsāmi puṃsi sa vardhate dharmayaśo'rthakāmaiḥ ||
ദേവി! ഞാൻ ദേഹരൂപത്തിൽ നാരായണനെ ഒഴികെ മറ്റെവിടെയും വസിക്കുന്നില്ല; കൂടാതെ എല്ലായിടത്തും ഒരേ ദൃശ്യരൂപത്തിൽ ഞാൻ വസിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് ഇവിടെ പറയാനും എനിക്ക് കഴിയില്ല. ഞാൻ ഭാവത്താൽ—അന്തരംഗനിഷ്ഠയാൽ—ഏതു പുരുഷനിൽ വസിക്കുന്നുവോ, അവൻ ധർമ്മം, യശസ്, അർത്ഥം, കാമം എന്നിവകൊണ്ട് സമ്പന്നനായി നിരന്തരം വളരുന്നു।
