Praise of Ācāra as the Basis of Longevity, Fame, and Prosperity

गुरुणा चैव निर्बन्धो न कर्तव्य: कदाचन । अनुमान्य: प्रसाद्यश्न गुरु: क्रुद्धो युधिष्ठिर

guruṇā caiva nirbandho na kartavyaḥ kadācana | anumānyaḥ prasādyāśna guruḥ kruddho yudhiṣṭhira ||

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—യുധിഷ്ഠിരാ, ഗുരുവിനോടു ഒരിക്കലും പിടിവാശിയോ തർക്കമോ ചെയ്യരുത്; ഗുരു ക്രുദ്ധനായാലും യഥോചിതമായ ആദരത്തോടെ സമീപിച്ച്, പ്രസാദിപ്പിച്ച്, സമാധാനപഥം തന്നെയാകണം സ്വീകരിക്കേണ്ടത്.
