अवलोक्यो न चादर्शो मलिनो बुद्धिमत्तरै: । न चाज्ञातां स्त्रियं गच्छेद् गर्भिणीं वा कदाचन
Transliteration
avalokyo na cādarśo malino buddhimattaraiḥ | na cājñātāṃ striyaṃ gacched garbhiṇīṃ vā kadācana ||
Translation
ഭീഷ്മൻ ഉപദേശിച്ചു—അത്യന്തം ബുദ്ധിമാൻ മലിനമായ കണ്ണാടിയിൽ സ്വന്തം മുഖം നോക്കരുത്. പരിചയമില്ലാത്ത സ്ത്രീയുടെയോ ഗർഭിണിയായ സ്ത്രീയുടെയോ അടുക്കൽ ഒരിക്കലും പോകരുത്.
