भक्षयेच्छास्त्रदृष्टानि पर्वस्वपि विवर्जयेत्‌ । शास्त्रोंमें जिन काष्ठोंका दाँतन निषिद्ध माना गया है

Transliteration

bhakṣayecchāstradṛṣṭāni parvasv api vivarjayet |

Translation

ശാസ്ത്രത്തിൽ ദന്തധാവനത്തിന് നിഷിദ്ധമായ കഷ്ഠങ്ങൾ എപ്പോഴും ഉപേക്ഷിക്കണം. ശാസ്ത്രവിഹിതമായ കഷ്ഠം കൊണ്ടേ ദന്തധാവനം ചെയ്യൂ; എന്നാൽ പർവ്വ/വ്രതദിനത്തിൽ അതും ഒഴിവാക്കണം।
