नहुषोपाख्यानम्—दीपदान-धूप-बलीकर्म-प्रशंसा
Nahūṣa Episode and the Commendation of Lamp-Gifting and Household Offerings
नहुषो<पि त्वया राजंस्तस्माच्छापात् समुद्धृतः । जगाम ब्रह्मभवनं पश्यतस्ते जनाधिप,राजन! तुमने भी नहुषका उस शापसे उद्धार कर दिया। नरेश्वर! वे तुम्हारे देखते-देखते ब्रह्मतोकको चले गये
nahuṣo 'pi tvayā rājan tasmāc chāpāt samuddhṛtaḥ | jagāma brahmabhavanaṁ paśyatas te janādhipa ||
രാജാവേ! നീയും നഹുഷനെ ആ ശാപത്തിൽ നിന്ന് മോചിപ്പിച്ചു. ജനാധിപാ! നിന്റെ കണ്ണുമുന്നിൽ തന്നേ അവൻ ബ്രഹ്മലോകത്തിലേക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
