देवानभ्यर्चयच्चापि विधिवत् स सुरेश्वर: । सवनिव यथान्यायं यथापूर्वमरिंदम,शत्रुदमन! वे देवेश्वर नहुष विधिपूर्वक सभी देवताओंका पूर्ववत् यथोचितरूपसे पूजन किया करते थे
bhīṣma uvāca | devān abhyarcayac cāpi vidhivat sa sureśvaraḥ | savanīva yathānyāyaṃ yathāpūrvam ariṃdama śatrudamana |
ഹേ ശത്രുദമനാ, സുരേശ്വരനായ നഹുഷൻ വിധിപൂർവം, യഥാസമയം യഥോചിതമായി, മുൻപുണ്ടായിരുന്നപോലെ എല്ലാ ദേവന്മാരെയും ആരാധിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു।
