Āloka-dāna (Dīpa-dāna), Sumanas–Dhūpa–Dīpa Phala: Manu–Suvarṇa and Śukra–Bali Exempla
देवताभ्य: सुमनसो यो ददाति नर: शुचि: । तस्य तुष्यन्ति वै देवास्तुष्टा: पुष्टिं ददत्यपि,जो मनुष्य पवित्र होकर देवताओंको फूल चढ़ाता है, उसके ऊपर सब देवता संतुष्ट होते और उसके लिये पुष्टि प्रदान करते हैं
devatābhyaḥ sumanaso yo dadāti naraḥ śuciḥ | tasya tuṣyanti vai devās tuṣṭāḥ puṣṭiṃ dadaty api ||
ശുചിയായ മനുഷ്യൻ ദേവന്മാർക്ക് പുഷ്പങ്ങൾ അർപ്പിച്ചാൽ ദേവന്മാർ അവനിൽ സന്തുഷ്ടരാകുന്നു; സന്തുഷ്ടരായി അവർ അവന് പുഷ്ടിയും സമൃദ്ധിയും നൽകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
