पृथिव्युवाच ऋषय: पितरो देवा मनुष्याश्नैव माधव । इज्याश्वैवार्चनीयाश्व॒ यथा चैव निबोध मे

Transliteration

pṛthivy uvāca—ṛṣayaḥ pitaro devā manuṣyāś caiva mādhava | ijyāś caivārcanīyāś ca yathā caiva nibodha me ||

Translation

പൃഥിവി പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ മാധവാ! ഋഷിമാർ, പിതൃകൾ, ദേവന്മാർ, കൂടാതെ (അതിഥിരൂപത്തിലുള്ള) മനുഷ്യർ—ഇവരെല്ലാം പൂജ്യരും ആദരാർഹരുമാണ്. എങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യണമെന്ന് എന്നിൽ നിന്ന് കേൾക്കുക.
