Transliteration

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca |

Gārhasthyaṁ dharmam akhilaṁ prabrūhi bharatarṣabha |

Ṛddhim āpnoti kiṁ kṛtvā manuṣya iha pārthiva ||

Translation

യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ഭാരതർഷഭാ! ഗൃഹസ്ഥാശ്രമത്തിന്റെ സമഗ്രധർമ്മം എനിക്കു ഉപദേശിക്കണമേ. ഹേ പാർത്ഥിവാ! മനുഷ്യൻ ഈ ലോകത്തിൽ ഏതു കർമ്മങ്ങൾ ചെയ്ത് സമൃദ്ധി പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു?
