Shloka 61

उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel

एवं तवोग्रं हि तप उपदेशेन नाशितम्‌ । पुरोहितत्वमुत्सृज्य यतस्व त्वं पुनर्भवे

evaṁ tavograṁ hi tapa upadeśena nāśitam | purohitattvam utsṛjya yatasva tvaṁ punarbhave ||

ഇങ്ങനെ ഉപദേശം നൽകുന്നതിനാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉഗ്രതപസ് നശിച്ചു. അതിനാൽ പുരോഹിതത്വം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച്, പുനർഭവത്തെ അതിക്രമിക്കാൻ—സംസാരബന്ധനം കടക്കാൻ—വീണ്ടും പരിശ്രമിക്കുക.
