उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel
ब्रह्माश्रमपदे वृत्तं पाश्वे हिमवत: शुभे । तत्राश्रमपद पुण्यं नानावृक्षणणायुतम्,हिमालयके सुन्दर पार्श्रभागमें, जहाँ बहुत-से ब्राह्मणोंके आश्रम बने हुए हैं, यह वृत्तान्त घटित हुआ था। उस प्रदेशमें एक पवित्र आश्रम है जहाँ नाना प्रकारके हरे-भरे वृक्ष शोभा पाते हैं
brahmāśramapade vṛttaṁ pārśve himavataḥ śubhe | tatrāśramapadaṁ puṇyaṁ nānāvṛkṣagaṇāyutam ||
ഈ സംഭവം ശുഭമായ ഹിമവാന്റെ സമീപഭാഗത്ത്, ഋഷിമാരുടെ ആശ്രമവസതിപ്രദേശത്ത് നടന്നു. അവിടെ നാനാവിധ വൃക്ഷസമൂഹങ്ങളാൽ അലങ്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഒരു പുണ്യമായ ആശ്രമസ്ഥലം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
