उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel

कुरुष्वैतां पूर्वशीर्षा भवांश्वोदड्मुख: शुचि: । सच तत्‌ कृतवान्‌ शूद्र: सर्व यदृषिरब्रवीत्‌

kuruṣvaitāṃ pūrvaśīrṣā bhavāñ chvodāṅmukhaḥ śuciḥ | sa ca tat kṛtavān śūdraḥ sarvaṃ yad ṛṣir abravīt ||

“ഈ കുശമാറ്റിന്റെ തലഭാഗം കിഴക്കോട്ടാക്കുക; നീ ശുചിയായി ഉത്തരമുഖമായി ഇരിക്കുക.” ഋഷി പറഞ്ഞതെല്ലാം ശൂദ്രൻ അതുപോലെ ചെയ്തു.
