उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel
शुश्रूषया परॉल्लोकानवाप्स्यसि न संशय:
śuśrūṣayā parāṁl lokān avāpsyasi na saṁśayaḥ
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഭക്തിപൂർവമായ ശുശ്രൂഷയാൽ നീ ഉന്നത ലോകങ്ങൾ പ്രാപിക്കും; ഇതിൽ സംശയമില്ല. കുലപതി പറഞ്ഞു—ഈ ആശ്രമത്തിൽ ശൂദ്രൻ സന്ന്യാസലക്ഷണങ്ങൾ ധരിച്ചു താമസിക്കുവാൻ പാടില്ല. നിനക്ക് ഇവിടെ പാർക്കണമെന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ, അങ്ങനെ തന്നെയിരുന്ന് സാദു-മഹാത്മാക്കളുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യുക. ശുശ്രൂഷയാൽ തന്നെയാണ് നീ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ ലോകങ്ങൾ പ്രാപിക്കുക; ഇതിൽ സംശയമില്ല.
