उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel

भवत्प्रसादादिच्छामि धर्म वक्तुं द्विजर्षभ । तन्मां त्वं भगवन्‌ वक्तुं प्रत्राजयितुमरहसि

bhavatprasādād icchāmi dharmaṁ vaktuṁ dvijarṣabha | tan māṁ tvaṁ bhagavan vaktuṁ pravrājayitum arhasi ||

ഹേ ദ്വിജശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രസാദത്താൽ എനിക്ക് ധർമ്മം പ്രസ്താവിക്കാനുള്ള യോഗ്യത വേണം; അതിനാൽ, ഹേ ഭഗവൻ, എന്നെ വിധിപൂർവ്വം പ്രവ്രജ്യ (സന്ന്യാസദീക്ഷ)യിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ച് സംസാരിക്കാൻ അധികാരം നൽകണമേ।
