King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt
गिरिं कोलाहलं तं तु पदा वसुरताडयत् । निश्षक्राम ततस्तेन प्रहारविवरेण सा
giriṃ kolāhalaṃ taṃ tu padā vasuratāḍayat | niṣṣakrāma tatastena prahāravivareṇa sā |
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു— നദിയുടെ പ്രവാഹം തടയപ്പെട്ടതു കണ്ട ഉപരിചര വസു തന്റെ പാദംകൊണ്ട് കോലാഹല പർവ്വതത്തെ പ്രഹരിച്ചു. ആ പ്രഹാരത്തിൽ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ വിള്ളൽ പിറന്നു; ആ വിള്ളലിലൂടെ നദി പുറപ്പെട്ടു മുൻപുപോലെ വീണ്ടും ഒഴുകി.
