तच्छरैरर्जुनो वर्ष प्रतिजघ्नेडत्यमर्षित:
taccharair arjuno varṣaṃ pratijaghne ’tyamarṣitaḥ |
അത്യന്തം കോപം നിറഞ്ഞ അർജുനൻ തന്റെ അമ്പുകളാൽ ആ വൃഷ്ടിയെ പ്രതിഹതപ്പെടുത്തി തകർത്തു. തന്റെ ശിലാവൃഷ്ടി വ്യർഥമായതായി കണ്ട ശതക്രതു—ശതയജ്ഞകർത്താവായ ഇന്ദ്രൻ—വീണ്ടും അതിലും ഭാരം കൂടിയ കല്ലുമഴ ചൊരിഞ്ഞു.
