dṛṣṭvā nivāritān devān mādhavenārjunena ca

Translation

വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു: മാധവനും അർജുനനും ദേവന്മാരെ തടഞ്ഞു അവരുടെ ഗതി നിർത്തിയതു കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, സ്ഥിതി ആ ഇരുവരുടെയും ശക്തിയിലും സംकल्पത്തിലും ആശ്രയിച്ചു മാറി നിന്നു।
