अर्जुनस्य लक्ष्यवेधः
Arjuna’s Hitting of the Target at the Svayaṃvara
इच्छन्नपचितिं कर्तु भूगूणां भूगुनन्दन: । सर्वलोकविनाशाय तपसा महतैधित:
icchann apacitiṁ kartuṁ bhṛgūṇāṁ bhṛgunandanaḥ | sarvalokavināśāya tapasā mahataidhitaḥ ||
ഭൃഗുവംശത്തിന്റെ ആനന്ദമായ ആ കുമാരൻ ഭൃഗുക്കൾക്ക് യഥോചിതമായ ആദരവും പ്രതിഫലവും നൽകുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു, സർവ്വലോകനാശം നിശ്ചയിച്ചു; മഹത്തായ തപസ്സാൽ തന്റെ ശക്തി അത്യന്തം വർധിപ്പിച്ചു।
