गन्धर्व उवाच इदं वासिष्ठमाख्यानं पुराणं परिचक्षते । पार्थ सर्वेषु लोकेषु यथावत् तन्निबोध मे
Translation
ഗന്ധർവൻ പറഞ്ഞു— പാർഥാ! വസിഷ്ഠന്റെ ഈ ഉപാഖ്യാനം സർവ്വലോകങ്ങളിലും അതിപുരാതനമെന്നു പറയപ്പെടുന്നു. അതിനെ യഥാർത്ഥമായി ഞാൻ നിനക്കു പറയുന്നു; കേൾക്കുക.
