ब्राह्मण उवाच एवमुक््त्वा तु याजेन हुते हविषि संस्कृते । उत्तस्थौ पावकात् तस्मात् कुमारो देवसंनिभ:,ब्राह्मण कहता है--यों कहकर याजने उस संस्कारयुक्त हविष्यकी आहुति ज्यों ही अग्निमें डाली, त्यों ही उस अग्निसे देवताके समान तेजस्वी एक कुमार प्रकट हुआ
brāhmaṇa uvāca | evam uktvā tu yājena hute haviṣi saṁskṛte | uttasthau pāvakāt tasmāt kumāro devasaṁnibhaḥ ||
ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ ശേഷം യാജൻ സംസ്കൃതമായ ഹവ്യം അഗ്നിയിൽ ആഹുതിയായി അർപ്പിച്ചതുമാത്രം, ആ പാവകത്തിൽ നിന്നു ദേവസമാന തേജസ്സുള്ള ഒരു കുമാരൻ ഉദിച്ചുയർന്നു.”
