ഇവിടെ ‘ഇഹ രതീ…’ എന്നു ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന ആറു ഋക്‌മന്ത്രങ്ങളാൽ വിഭാവസു (അഗ്നി)യ്ക്കു സ്വർണ്ണദാനം ചെയ്യണം—വിശേഷിച്ച് കാർത്തിക, മാഘ, വൈശാഖ മാസങ്ങളിൽ, കൂടാതെ സംക്രാന്തിദിനങ്ങളിലും പാതപർവ്വങ്ങളുടെ പുണ്യസന്ധികാലങ്ങളിലും।
