पात्रासादनं श्रपणमुपयमनकुशादिकम् / पुर्युक्षणान्ते होमं च कर्या द्वै ब्राह्मणेन तु

യാഗപാത്രങ്ങൾ ഒരുക്കി ക്രമപ്പെടുത്തണം, നിശ്ചിത ഹവി പാകം ചെയ്യണം, ഉപയമനം, കുശ മുതലായ സാമഗ്രികൾ ശേഖരിക്കണം. പുര്യുക്ഷണ (ശുദ്ധി-പ്രോക്ഷണം) അവസാനത്തിൽ രണ്ട് ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാർ ഹോമം നടത്തണം।
