bhūmau sthiteṣu piṇḍeṣu gandhapuṣpākṣatānvitam / dātavyaṃ sarvaṃviprebhyo vedaśāstravidhānataḥ

ഭൂമിയിൽ പിണ്ഡങ്ങൾ സ്ഥാപിച്ച ശേഷം, ഗന്ധം, പുഷ്പം, അക്ഷതം എന്നിവയോടുകൂടിയ എല്ലാം വേദ-ശാസ്ത്രവിധിപ്രകാരം ബ്രാഹ്മണർക്കു സമർപ്പിക്കണം.
