saptāhāt pitṛdevānāṃ bhavedyogyā kṛtārcane / saptāhamadhye yo garbhastatsaṃmbhūtirmalimlucā

Translation

ഏഴ് ദിവസത്തിനു ശേഷം പിതൃദേവന്മാർക്കായി ചെയ്ത അർച്ചന/അർപ്പണം യോഗ്യവും ഫലപ്രദവും ആകുന്നു. എന്നാൽ ആ ഏഴ് ദിവസത്തിനുള്ളിൽ ഗർഭം സംഭവിച്ചാൽ, ആ ജന്മം ‘മലിമ്ലുച’—അശുദ്ധവും അമംഗളവും—എന്നു പറയുന്നു.
