babhruvāhanapretasaṃvāde pretatvahetutannivṛttyupāyanirūpaṇaṃ nāma saptaviṃśo 'dhyāyaḥ garuḍa uvāca / sarvepāmanukampārthaṃ brūhi me madhusūdana / pretatvānmucyate yena dānena sukṛtena vā

Translation

ബഭ്രുവാഹനനും പ്രേതനും തമ്മിലുള്ള സംവാദത്തിൽ—പ്രേതത്വത്തിന്റെ കാരണങ്ങളും അതിന്റെ നിവൃത്തിയിലേക്കുള്ള ഉപായങ്ങളും വിവരിക്കുന്ന ഏഴിരുപത്തേഴാം അധ്യായം. ഗരുഡൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ മധുസൂദന, സർവ്വജീവികളോടും കരുണകൊണ്ട് പറയുക; ഏതു ദാനത്താലോ ഏതു പുണ്യകർമ്മത്താലോ പ്രേതത്വത്തിൽ നിന്ന് മോചനം ലഭിക്കുന്നു?
