कुर्यात्कर्माणि सर्वाणि चोदकुम्भादि पायसम् / दातव्यं तु खगश्रेष्ठ ऋणसम्बन्धकस्तु सः
kuryātkarmāṇi sarvāṇi codakumbhādi pāyasam / dātavyaṃ tu khagaśreṣṭha ṛṇasambandhakastu saḥ
വിധിപ്രകാരം നിർദ്ദേശിച്ച എല്ലാ കർമ്മങ്ങളും ചെയ്യുകയും, ജലകുംഭം മുതലായവയും പായസം (ക്ഷീരം) ദാനമായി നൽകുകയും വേണം. ഹേ ഖഗശ്രേഷ്ഠ ഗരുഡാ! ഇത്തരമൊരു ദാനം ഋണ-പ്രത്യുപകാരബന്ധം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു।
